Someone is selling the sticks from this ram individually
F4-3200C14Q-32GTZR
His price for 1x8gb is 100e and 160e for 2x8gb.
It's brand new sealed, with the receipt.

I already have a 1x8gb F4-3600C15D running at -14-14-14-34@1.35v

And their stats seem identical :

I used to work it with a 1x4gb hyperx fury 2133mhz and it booted, so I don't think the F4 - 3200 C14 Q- 32 GTZR has serious incompatibility issues.

My question is, should I buy the ram? 2x8gb or 1x8gb?
It's hard to sell mine cos no receipt, I too bought it used.

Shop prices :
The F4 - 3200 C14 Q- 32 GTZR costs 424e in my country
The same ram, at 2x8gb costs 203 euro.
The F4-3600C15D costs 225euro.

Edit : the seller will let me test if they boot, with my current ram, before purchase.
Also, my current ram right now runs at 14-14-14-34 at 3200mhz.

Thanks a lot to everyone.

50/50 chance mixing ram will work. Probably will work but if it doesn't, can you return it?
I kinda can. He is a friend of a friend, he said he will let me try if it boots, first .

My only concern is if it's worth getting the 2nd stick of ram for 100e, or if I should get 2 for 160 and try to sell my F4-3600C15D.

Or if I should wait for price drops and get one identical to mine, and then sell the 3rd one, including its receipt.

Ram are sold in kits as they're tested to be compatible with each other. I've mixed ram before and has worked. Other people aren't so lucky.

Only you can make that choice. I couldn't say what would be best, buying single or pair because i don't know for sure what'll happen.

My dilemma doesn't have to do with compatibility. It's about whether to buy one of his sticks, 2 or none.

It does have to do with compatibility, why would you say that?

It is buy one stick to save and risk compatibility issues with the ram you have or buy two and be done and sell your other stick.

Isn't that what you're asking?
No. I'm asking if, given the
shop's prices, it's worth buying a 1x8gb from another user for 100e, or 2x8gb for 160e and try to sell mine,or neither.

Reminder :the guy will let me test if they boot, with my current ram, before purchase.

The 4 sticks of the kit will work together.
I have little doubt that two of them will work together.
If your need is for 16gb, buy two of the sticks @160e and test them.
If they have no problems, you can try adding in your old 8gb stick, if you succeed, great, you have 24gb.
If not, keep the old stick as a spare and you will have 16gb.

Even if I buy only one stick, the seller is letting me test their compatibility before the purchase.

Other people have said that 3 sticks ruin the dual channel privileges. No?

What is your motherboard?
Ryzen will not run with 3 sticks.
Intel will run with 3 sticks in what is called flex mode.
The matched capacity on each channel will run in dual channel mode.
The odd capacity will run in single channel mode.
On balance I think the extra capacity trumps the mode in which you run.

Thank you for the clarification!
