Finding a Video game to the melody of this song...

Self Destruct by Pegboard Nerds is the song that i found, at around 25seconds the melody starts before being remixed. This melody is found in what i remember a rather legendary game from my childhood ( everything was better then ...) but anyway.

Can anyone help me find this stinking game please ? http://

My thoughts are around a Sega Game , Japanese or forign in any case, possibly ragnarok psoBB game Aera maybe a Sonic game?

LoL, I thought the same thing Moonsfang, thinking maybe the intro or transition levels of Mega Man X?

I was actually originally thinking of the battle network series. But now that you mention it I may have heard it there to.

Man im listening to those , though really close still can't find the exact one, ...update my thoughts above possibly DQM, or a Similar gameboy game... gah its killing me not knowing....

Haha, you could ask the makers of it, I am not familiar with them but considering they are named "Pegboard Nerds" I would not be surprised if the sampled from some classics.
