Question Finding bios for ancient laptop

I'm trying to keep an ancient laptop going and want to know if the current bios is the latest, and if not, where I can find the latest, everything seems to have vanished from the Sony Website.

Sony PCG-71211M

Current Bios:
Brand: American Megatrends Inc
Version: R0300Y8
Date: 07/20/2010

Now has Windows 10 on and is working fine, but HDMI port is flakey / not working.

Why do you need to update the BIOS? If the laptop is working well and there are no issues with the BIOS you're running, then it's best left alone.

After some searching it seems the model is a VPCEB3F4E, Intel HD graphics from the Pentium P6100 . The graphics driver does not support Windows 10 so this is probably causing the issue

Right, very helpful both. I agree, if the BIOS isn't needed then I won't hunt anymore, I just thought it may help.
