Finding compatible motherboard

So I have a problem/question..

I want this motherboard: http://usa.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z68V_LX/#MSL

But I went through the memory support list and mine isn't on the list.. Anyone think that means it absolutely won't work with it, or Asus just didn't type it all in there? (You can see the list in first link, pdf)

I went to Corsairs memory configurator, which can tell you, what boards are compatible with your memory, I went through it alot, and it doesn't seem very updated..

Don't worry that much about what is or what is not in the QVL, it is just a list of the RAM that was certified by the ASUS. U have to pay to be certified, so the maker of the RAM, have it done on just a few sticks : ))

That RAM u have is certainly perfect match. Its 1.5V DDR3 and that is all that matters.

U need:
4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)

And that mobo is great, for the price : ) and will work fine with the RAM u have.

BTW, if u are buying the parts, get x64bit win7 home premium and get more RAM,

8GB is the sweet spot in the performance world!

Hey, thank you very much Nikorr & yes, I already have windows 7 pro 64 bit.. and i have the 8 gb.. I was pretty down, thinking I had to keep looking for a compatible board, I am pretty picky because I have a big coolermaster cooler, and I don't want motherboard heatsinks so close to the cpu, so thats why I like that board. (which is like you said, a great price= on Amazon right now $113.99 with rebate) And I am planning on pairing it with an I5-2500k..

I usually recommend low profile RAM, because the easy upgrade to large CPU cooler at any time without any issue : )
