Question Finding directory

long story short I'm wanting to find a directory within an application/program. so basically I can copy from the "Local" (PC drive) to the application directory and copy back, but how can I actually find the file on the application itself. I'm basically trying to alleviate having to manually copt to the machine then to the application. any ideas?

Local drive is the Harddrive
NC is the directory I'm looking for

Application: SIMUMERIK operate (slshmhost)

The original file show up in file explorer, once you copy to machine and delete from the local drive, its still in the application but you can't find it in explorer. I've verified "Hidden files" to be shown. I think the application is separate. I'll be contacting Siemens I figured someone here may know meanwhile
