Finding more Laptop RAM

Hello, I've been trying to find some more RAM for my (MSI)GL72-6QF and can't seem to find any. I opened up my laptop and I have 1 stick of 8GB and I would like to find another. When I searched around online I found a couple sites claiming to sell the specific RAM I need for my Laptop, but I would like to know what to look for so I can do some digging myself. If anyone could help me in identifying the requirements for the RAM I need that would be great!
