Finding my serial number through software

I have a 980 and would like to retrieve the serial number through windows.

Could anyone please point me on how to do this?

Most likely you can't. Why can't you just simply open up the case and look at the sticker that is placed on the card or find it on the retail box that it was in.

I need to prove that it's working, and I can't think of another way of doing that without screen shotting the serial number.

You could make a recorded video of the card with the serial number shown and the pc running it

Sadly you can't see the serial number when it's in situ, so I'd need a video installing it!
