I signed up for an email to make another for some work charts to send to myself. A year later I'm trying to access it again for work and I forgot the password. I have used Microsoft recovery to get it back and now they are asking for the ip address I used to log in which was other a year ago. Is there anyway to find out the ip address on the router through using my mac? Any help would be much appreciated

Its an odd thing to ask when most peoples addresses are dynamically (randomly) allocated by the isp. Most home users don't have a static ip. If it was accessed from a business then you have a good chance of finding it out, since the ip address is likely static and still the same now.

For your ISP (the one you had a year go) to find it from their records, they would need to know the date and time you last accessed it.

So in short, there isnt a realistic way. Thats what the password recovery ('I have forgotten my password') is for.
Unless I misunderstand the question of course.
