Greetings,
I just installed Win 2K from DOS into the Win98 drive. (Dual Boot) It seemed to work OK except that the password I initially entered doesn't work for the startup Logon under Administrator in the Logon dialogue box. I tried it many different ways thinking I may have had caps on etc.
How can I find my password that I entered during setup. I already tried, through Win98, reading the security folder dbase files using word 2K, but that didn't work. Is it in any of the log files? And if so, how are they read? Word2K didn't seem to like *.log files either. Thanks
Craig

Here's one way:

If that seems a bit too complicated, you could just reinstall the OS.

I would go to a search engine and do a search on Crack Password windows 2000. There are plenty of programs out there. Good Luck!
