Hey guys, I recently built my own computer and all was working fine until recently. Whenever I join a game of for example League of Legends, the ping will go super high 10 seconds into the game and say "Attempting to reconnect" and sometimes tends to freeze the league client, however when I speedtest the ping says it's fine. It sometimes crashes YouTube also if I skip half way through the video, the browser will stop responding. However I don't have this problem for other multiplayer games and browsing the internet is fine and videos do tend to load properly and not buffer as long as I don't mess with the duration of it. I'm not sure whether it's an internet issue or a hardware issue, however my modem is outside and a genuine struggle to connect it to ethernet, any help would be much appreciated :)

I've had friends with problems of high ping in League who chatted with their support team and figured out that it was actually the new League client messing them up. He got an old client from the support guy and everything worked. As for the youtube problem, I'm not sure on that. Something that I think you should know about is powerline adapters. Powerline adapters basically use your electrical cables to transfer an internet connection that simulates ethernet. (it's not as good as ethernet but it's a hell of a lot better and more stable than Wi-Fi). Here's a good powerline adapter: https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Powerline-Adapter-Starter-TL-PA4010KIT/dp/B00AWRUICG. You could probably find it cheaper if you looked around or waited for a...
