So i had just finished building my pc and when i tried to power it it didn't turn on the only thing that did was the led from the power button the the led from the gpu...Here is my pc part list https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8zCxbj i had gotten a high end case because it had gotten it for a really good price even though i didn't need it. I think i might of missed something when connecting everything.

Okay so i got the computer to turn on everything on the mother board turns on but then after a couple of seconds later it turns back off. i have a monitor connected but it just turns back on then off

It's called a boot loop, which means the computer is failing the POST (Power On Self Test) so it isn't happy about some hardware attached or the way it is wired up. Have you plugged the cooler fan into the cpu_fan header on your motherboard?

It could be a lot of things, worst of all bent pins in the cpu socket which is near to unfixable, but check you have the cooler attached first, and the RAM and GPU fully clipped in.

I'm pretty sure everything is clipped in right and what do you mean by if i have a cooler attached my case does have 3 coolers but the board has only 2 one thing is that the fan plugs have 3 pins while the ones on the board have 4 im still able to plug them in without one and they work during that boot up time.

Im pretty sure i dont have any bent cpu pins i carefully placed the cpu in with no problem could it possibly be from the cpu cooler because i did struggle with installing it.

No the cooler needs to be pluuged into the cpu_fan 1 header on the board. The fan over the CPU. Is that fan spinning? Without that the system will fail to boot.

I doubt the cooler wouldve bent pins if the CPU was already installed, but check it isnt screwed on too tightly.

3 pin fans are fine in 4 pin headers for now dont worry about that.

Okay i tried putting one ram slot in every slot i only did it with one of the ram sticks but i dont think doing it with the other will do anything, im still having a boot loop

Cant see anything in the manual related to either which is pretty weird as most boards have one or the other. Are there any LED numbers/letters showing on the board? Or did it come with a little speaker? Without that u cant hear/see any error codes.

I know its frustrating, and no fun, and maybe the best thing to do would be to either contact Gigabyte support or take it to a local repair shop and have them wire it up for you. Sorry bud.
