Finishing my build

This is my first build so far I have this going in an NZXT h440.. Maximus hero VII.. 4x4 Gskil ripjaw 16g...EVGA 1000 supernova g2 80plus gold. Corsair h105 liquid cooling.. I'm going to put an MSI Gtx 970 in or possibly move up to a 980. I'm wondering what ssd & hard drive I should use. 250g ssd? I don't underst the red, green, blue etc.. Also could anyone recommend a good gaming monitor 27 inch.i was looking at the AoC that works with the Nvidia cards . They seem to range about $475. Thank u for any help

2x8 gb ram would be better (look up 2x8 vs 4x4). The noctua dh-15 is my choice cpu cooler wise (but that's up to you). Two 970s would be better than a single 980 (and that PSU could support three, but 3 way sli is pretty much a waste most of the time). The colours dictate the quality of the drive and its warranty (black is best, and has 5 years of warranty last time I checked, although it may have dropped since then). What resolution do you want for the monitor?

I'd go for the new Samsung 850 EVO. It's one of the top-end SSDs, and although you can't notice a real difference between this drive and the other brands, it has the newest technology with increased reliability. It's on sale for just $99 at the moment - bargain. Shame it's much more in the UK!

Thank you guys. I did go with MSI gtx 970.. Also 240g Samsung 850 Eco. Went with 27 gsync Acer. Had really good sale on that monitor $499 plus 20% off since I bought processor ther too ended up getting it for $400
