I recently purchased an iBirdie 4K Fiber Optic HDMI Cable in 50 Feet, (HDMI 2.0 18Gbps, Supports 4K 60hz(4 4 4, Dolby Vision, HDR10, E-ARC, HDCP2.2) 1440p 144hz, One-Way Work) to run from the media closet to the home theater TV. The TV is a Samsung Q80. After running the wire (which I failed to test before running, classic amateur mistake) and could not get any picture whatsoever, no menu screen, nothing. I figured I damaged the wire when running it through the beams. After buying a new Wire (and enlarging the holes through the beams), I tested the new wire, and still, unable to get any picture whatsoever. And ideas?

here is a link to the wire:

If you can't even get a TV menu to pop up it's not the cable, it's the TV itself. Is it plugged in?

The TV is plugged in. The fios menu doesn’t show up, which I have read is something that should always show up.

So u know this cable goes ONE WAY. OK.

So the first Question on Amazon is... Some devices you have to go in and configure specifically for HDMI 2.x/enhanced.

Then I would go into Amazon and look at the negative reviews for clues.

Everything I have been able to find in the Samsung Q80 says there is no settings that need to be changed. I tried game mode, pc mode, etc., I figured it could be a TV setting, but there is nothing that works.
