Question Firefox Action Buttons Washed out

I recently installed an ASUS Ex-GTX 1060 in my wheezy Dell XPS 8500 in order to try to extend the box's life for another year or two so I can run flight simulation software. Everything is working well now with the exception of Firefox. It seems that many of the action click points on various pages are washed out or do not appear at all. The live click point still exists but I have to guess its location. In some cases, I have to bail out of Firefox and use Edge (ugh). it looks like the system isn't reproducing all of the page paint. I'd appreciate any insight into this problem,

Maybe try re-installing FIREFOX from scratch ? Do a clean install. Is Firefox fully updated to the latest version ? Maybe also try to refresh/reset the Firefox settings ? Start Firefox, type about:support in the address bar and press ENTER.

Click “Refresh Firefox”. It tells you that refreshing Firefox will remove your add-ons, customizations and restores default browser preferences. Click on “Refresh Firefox”, and click Finish in the next dialog.

Thanks for the idea. Ran the refresh but the blank/greyed out action click spots still persist. Because of Firefox's recent problems, this is a completely new install. I did notice that my video drivers were way out of date (10/27/17). I'll update these and see if that makes any difference.

Updated NVIVIA drivers but it didn't help with Firefox. Edge works OK. Any more ideas?

I use Firefox Quantum. Is this what you're using?
If not, try that browser.
