I looked through the forum and didn't see anywhere other than the Vista forum to post but after a fresh install of Vista,

Firefox begins to crash so frequent it's rediculous and so I thought it was just Firefox but I install Chrome and soon as

I go to use it, crash! Now after my fresh Vista install I go about things as reinstalling my software, Firefox and let

it install Java, Flash and everything else I've done a hundred times over and for some reason it won't work for very

long at all and the same way with Chrome SO that leads me to believe it's something in Vista. What do Firefox

and Chrome use that would cause them both to crash?

Solution
Are you installing any add ons or extensions such as firefox uses? If so, uninstall firefox using a program like revo uninstaller. Maybe also uninstall java, flash, etc. Reinstall firefox, verify that it works, then add in things one at a time and see when the machine crashes. Also, do any other programs exhibit this behavior such as Internet Explorer or any other programs?

I don't agree. You can uninstall everything and of course if the problem is flash or java it's not going to crash but the reason it's not crashing is because it's not using them. But as soon as you reinstall them you have the same prob. though these days you can't run the internet without them. So that's not a good solution. :bounce:
