Firefox Bookmarks Vanished

Today I opened up firefox and all my bookmarks and the ones on the bookmark toolbar have disappeared. Does anyone know how I can get these back?

C:\Documents and Settings\your account name here\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\0kj6f5p8.default

look in that location to see if you see bookmarks.bak or not.

the folder "0kj6f5p8.default" may have a different name for you 😉

I did this and opened It but it just has an empty bookmark folder.

Ugh, no, how the hell could this have happened? Omg...I must have had about 300 bookmarks in there, this is ****ing lame.

ok last thing to try is to get a hold of easy recovery pro and see if you can recover any of the deleted bookmark files.

you probably installed the wrong add-on for firefox ...
happened to me once... not nice...

I haven't installed any addons for firefox.

Did your computer restarted automatically like from a power failure or electricity fluctuation. Happened with me too in this situation. It couldn't even restore the session in that case.
