firefox close button changed.

My firefox close, resize buttons used to look like this:

you can see that those 3 classical buttons are covering my new buttons, they show up like these whenever i hit my resize button. but I'm not doing anything the "new" buttons are the only ones that show up like that.

I'm worried that I might be being hacked...

I just did a quick check.

apparently this is due to a change in my windows theme that is in the "my theme" section.

I went to this file at C:\Users\The Answer\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

and I discovered that I created this theme last year and it was last modified 50 minutes ago.

50 minutes ago I was on my computer and what I did was set up my dual monitor. So that may have contributed to the change in theme somehow?


However I am not convinced or sure how setting up a dual monitors would change the theme, it said that the "my theme" file was modified roughly the same time I just got done setting up my dual monitor..

so my question would be, under what condition or how would a theme file get changed in "C:\Users\The Answer\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes" this location?

as it inside the browser look under add ins and plug ins see what installed. look at the last things installed and then disable them one at a time see if they go bye bye. if not download hitman pro see if it sees anything.

Nope, just firefox

Reinstall Firefox to see if it helps. But you should use Aero, it's not that intensive as everyone says. It doesn't affect gaming performance.

dont have to reinstall and if you do the error will come back as firefox will reload the default user info again unless you remove all of firefox info from your pc. you dont have to lose the info go into tools add on then apparance in firefoix se if the default theam still on. if not click on use the default them. or try a new theam see if they go away

I'm not worried about gaming performance, I'm worried that someone is hacking me and it's messing with my comp.

I used 3 different anti virus software to scan and nothing comes up, which is why I'm even more scared because if I am being hacked I am being hacked by a pro.
