Question Firefox is very slow ?

I think that number of "parents" is pretty much normal.

I show 15 right now in Firefox with 1 tab open; using 1 GB of RAM

Chrome with 1 tab open: about 260 mb of RAM used; 10 parents.

Is slowness a new development...or has it always been the case?

You can't expect much from 2 GB of RAM. I have 8 on Windows 10 and get by pretty well.

But I've noticed Firefox is noticeably slower to open random sites compared to Chrome. Not a lot you can do about it.

It is difficult to add more RAM, I have tried 2-3 times adding memory with same characteristics, I posted it here a couple of years before... only by chance to find compatible pair (2 x 4GB)...
I'm just curious to see what will happen if I use a memory management program....
Thanks anyway
