Question Firefox often goes Unresponding

5 or 6 Processes run w/ only 1 or two tabs open. Memory at 85+ . Closing and restarting browser temporarily clear problem. running ''Ready boost'' on a thumb drive [maxed at 4 gig ] Even w/ no programs running, my WIFI shows much activity, both in and out. My ''BOINC /WCG runs excellent [as unattended] I suspect GOOGle or Facebook or my ISP [spectrum] is data-mining ! Monitoring RESOURCE Monitor mostly shows many SVRHost.exe I/O's. Any suggestions welcome vs replacing my 7 y/o CQ57 Laptop

Try checking task manager by right clicking the task bar. If you see many firefox listed close them out.

I already selected the min. for FF 32 on my 64 AMD CPU. FFox is still a memory hog . I never had such degradation in 30+ yrs. [Running Webroot,M$firewall, used /using System Mech and Ccleaner ] [can not finf attachment to show perfmonn.jpg ]
