This is driving me nuts so I really hope one of you guys can help. I have 2 desktop machines both running win7 and both connected through mains adapters. On both machines if I stream Netflix etc with Firefox it works perfectly BUT if I try to stream the same video using ANY other browser e.g. Chrome, Chromium, IE, Maxthon, etc the audio is out of sync and the video sometimes stutters. Any thoughts?

Unfortunately it's not just Netflix - same on Youtube, Hulu etc. My worry is that if FF fails me for any reason (I am a terrible worrier) I am gona be snookered because we all prefer streaming now to watching live tv! There has to be a solution somewhere!

Possibly an issue with Flash Player, then -- IIRC, Netflix & the others use it for the video playback. Sometimes, when you install a Flash update, it may not always add the plug-in for every browser.

Double-check what version is installed on your PC (http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html or http://www.codegeek.net/flash-version.php), & update it as needed. Double-check it in all of the browsers, just to be safe.
