firepro w7000 alternative cooling solution

I have a firepro w7000 and i would like to upgrade the cooler on it, it performs very well and i can run the games i play on highest settings but the temperature gets too high 90c++ very fast when i do so ,so im currently playing most gamez on low. I read that the w7000 is close to a 7870 and was hoping someone could tell me if i could use a cooler for this card without too much hassle? Ive been messing with cooling in pcs for years so im no novice if a little tinkering is needed..

The only one I know of that fits is an EK-VGA Supreme HF water block for water cooling obviously.

ah yes ive seen that and im sorry i wasnt clearer about not wishing to go back to watercooling again. hence i know i need an aftermarket cooler designed for another card and was hoping someone knew which one was closest and then i could go from there

I get similar temps with my w7000 when playing games, and was looking at getting a Corsair h90 liquid cooler with a Kraken GPU adapter.

Im 90% sure it will fit the firepro w7000 card. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Alternatively you could just turn the fan up on the w7000 when your gaming. It's the noisiest fan I have ever heard when it's turned up to full, but I have been using it at 70% and it's bearable at that level and gives me temps of about 60 degrees.

I'm using Open Hardware Monitor to control the w7000 fan.

as far as i can find out the w7000 and HD7870 should be very similar xept for an extra gb ram on the w7000.

but would be very nice if someone could shed some light on any problems.
if this is true theres actually alot of options on alternative cooling but im afraid im missing something and end up with a 100£ cooling solutions that doesnt fit >.<

The mounting hardware is identical so anything that fits the 7870 should fit the w7000. I suppose they just don't market the cooling solutions in the same way for the pro cards. My w7000 stays at around 60-65 degrees when using 3D applications. It only ever gets hot when gaming. Most of these things are owned by businesses, so never game.

If i do upgrade the cooling I will let you know. But I'm okay just turning the fan up and down for now. Got a lot on too, so not gaming much.
