I like them, not that I use most of the features very much (I always
talk to the whole team, for example). It is handy to have a quick
reference to see how your guys are doing though - if you see lots of
red you know it's time to get back and cover the objective.

Great for spotting coverts during wars/scrims when your team is all in the
fireteam.

hit NUMPAD <ENTER> anytime you're alive.. that's the fireteam command
menu.. u can apply to another fireteam or create your own, or
invite/warn/kick ppl from your fireteam if you're the leader.

the fireteam display will show in your top-left corner, and is great
for knowing when other team members are alive, close by, under fire
etc.

HA thats the theory!

and sometimes it does work that way if i'm playing with good players
i've played with before, but generally on public servers, the most u
can expect from a fireteam is keeping an eye on who's dead and who's
not.

if you see everyone else on your team dying, might be time to head
back and check the objectives yes?
