I've seen some weak arguments in my time to try to justify choosing inferior hardware, but a recent article I was reading on Firing Squad takes the biscuit. They spent 2 pages blathering on about 2D performance in order to justify choosing the 5900ultra over the 9800Pro in their high-end gaming machine.

Hilarious.
They then try to stoke up ATi drivers being unreliable still as another reason basically saying that nVidia drivers are more stable and more compatible in general.
Do these guys have any idea what they are talking about or are they sponsored by nVidia?
