Question Firmware update for the Sony DSC-H55 ?

Is there a firmware update available for the Sony DSC-H55 camera somewhere? Does this camera take good quality photos nowadays? Does the average new smartphone take higher or lower resolution photos than this camera? The battery in this camera is getting store electricity shorter and shorter and I have to charge it every now and then, is it possible to buy a battery for this camera somewhere?

Perhaps first try and replace the battery to alleviate the charging issue. In 2023, you're bound to find concurrent tech take better photos when compared to something that was made around 2010.
