I purchased my router just the other day on valentines day and set it up. it said there was a firmware update so i proceeded to do so. it appeared to still work and i went to bed. next morning there was nothing. no internet signal directly to it or wifi broadcasting so i called belkin. managed to fix the firmware issue to get to my dashboard to change settings and all that but my ssid isnt broadcasting. they told me i had to exchange the unit at the place i purchased it. i refuse to believe its toast. i cannot use the wifi part of my router. the only way to use any internet connection is to connect directly to the modem or connect directly to the router while attached to the modem. i've read about this issue and people were able to resolve it but i'm having no such luck. Here is the info for my router:

MFG: Belkin
Model: N600 Wifi dual band n+ router
Part number: F9K1102
Version: 2145

Any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance!!!

i've done that so many times. in fact, before i called i googled how to reset it properly since just pushing it wasnt doing the trick. you have to unplug it, and hold down the reset button while plugging the power cord back in and continue pressing the button for 30 seconds and the belkin support told me to just press it for 30 seconds and it didnt work. they said 1 minute and still didnt work and were dumbfounded because it wasnt working. i finally just did what i found while googling. the settings revert back to factory settings but nothing broadcasts no matter how many times the router is reset
