Question First AMD build, insight and criticism appreciated

Hi there,

I am currently configuring my first AMD build. I feel pretty confident about my selected components, however, because this is my first AMD build I thought I would reach out to the forum before ordering everything. If you have any suggestions, or insight on a build like this, I would greatly appreciate your help.

This Mid Tier build will be predominantly used for data processing (excessively large Excel files), video editing (Adobe Premier), and Photoshop. Excel, in particular, is the most CPU multi-thread intensive processing that this machine will be handling.

This build centered around the AMD 2700X is budget friendly. However, will the AMD 2700X be enough, or should I consider spending a little more to upgrade to a Thread Ripper? I feel pretty great about the AMD pricepoint, however, if any users have experience with AMD and would still suggest going the Intel i9 9900K route, I would appreciate your insight.

Do you have a Windows license?

Getting one kit of RAM as opposed to adding two together would better ensure they work well together
