I'm doing a build, and my motherboard which is a msi
A78M-E35 has jpwr2 connector, my modular PSU has a connector to this port, do i connect or not? Please help

Your motherboard manual will say.

I gather it's the equivalent of an EPS or ATX12V connector - 4 pin or 8 pin?

Connect both:
24-pin ATX main power connector
4-pin ATX 12V power connector
