First boot crashes

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a new pc and it has been working great. But ever since I started using the xmp profile I have been having crashes on the first boot after the pc has been off for a while. Usually a day or longer. It crashes right after the bios screen, shows a line of pixels from left to right and then it reboots itself and works fine.

I've already found out that the xmp profile ran my ram at 3000 mhz and my cpu can only do 2400. So I manually put it on 2400 mhz. But now I'm still experiencing these crashes. It's frustrating cause I'm afraid something might be wrong even though everything works fine after.

my setup is:
Mobo: MSI Z270 Pro Gaming Carbon
CPU: I7 7600k
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX 1080
RAM: Corsair vengeance DDR4 3000Mzh
PSU: EVGA 750 G2

PS: I also run the boosted profile on my CPU
Hope you can help me out!

The speed of the RAM is supported by your motherboard. CPU supports up to 2400 but your mobo can support way higher which that is what matters in the end.
Many people have problems with XMP profiles, you would be better off if you OCd the RAM yourself to the XMP clocks.

Haven't had any startup problems since I manually oc my ram, thank you
