I have an old case that im using for a new build. I dont remember if the reset button works or not and was wondering if that would screw up the first boot. My concern is that I will boot and plug in my USB to install windows and will try to use the reset button and it wont work and I will have to do a hard shut down. Will this corrupt the SSD or brick my MOBO? The only other thing I can think of is reseting in the BIOS. Thoughts?

You should ideally mention what the specs to your old system is. List them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:

In this day and age, you don't need the reset button unless you've got a system that is prone to hang up. In that case, you should be looking at the board or the PSU for being possible culprits.
