First bootup message error

"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key"

I can't enter into my BIOS, this is the first bootup and it seems everything is functional. I could boot directly from my windows 8 cd, but I was hoping to get into BIOS for change RAM frequency and making sure everything is being registered as connected.

Any thoughts on what might be the problem?

Press Delete continuously as soon as you turn the machine on, and to get it to boot insert you Windows 8 disk and run the start up repair of it that should fix it.

Okay, awesome I got in the bios. I don't have windows 8 installed yet, so after checking everything in BIOS, should I reboot from optical drive?

I'd also add that I'm idling at 25 celsius mainboard and 52 celsius CPU in Bios, is this slightly above normal? I've got an offmarket heatsink..

Yes, after that boot off the optical drive. My Install r it does that in the bios menu it will say that my that I am idling around 45 but when I go into hw monitor or speed fan I idle At 15. So I wouldn't worry about it. When you install Windows run a burn in test and prime 95 with hw monitor and speed fan running and see what the temps are like.
