First Build ($1200) Conformation

Solution
1. CPU and motherboard : Get a newer I5- 4690K and Z97 motherboard. Will be the same price.

2. SSD : The Samsung Pro series is unnecessary, you can save a bit by going for a mcuh cheaper Crucial MX100 or Samsung EVO.

3. The GTX780 is pointless after the release of the much better and cheaper GTX970.

4. CHange to a better cooler for 10$ more.

Agreed, not saving enough on Z77 and i5-3570k to make it worthwhile.

Z97 and an i5-4690k would be a more up to date choice.

Hard drive can always be purchased later, but I would recommend a larger SSD if you plan to use that as your only storage media.

Larger PSU for future SLI.
Larger SSD, because its a pain to manage 120GB.
Keep the extra 180$ towards that second GTX970.
