First build! 1700$ gaming rig.. need some advice plz!

Alright i'm very new to all this, but i took quite some time looking at different parts and such, listening to hundreds of Linustechtips videos, and came up with this build that i think is pretty nice.

and btw, could someone tell me if that SSD will be big enough to have the operating system and planetside2 (15gb) on it ?

If I were you, I would get an i5 3570k and GTX 670 or 7970 depending on which is cheaper unless money isn't a factor, in which this case it is. With the money saved you could buy yourself a SSD with higher capacity.
You have to remember that Windows 7 requires ~30gb after all updates and such. Plus you are going to have a bunch of programs that automatically install to your operating system drive by default. So yes, Planetside 2 will fit, but you probably won't be able to fit many other games onto it.
The GTX 670 and GTX 680 have a minimal performance difference, and the 670 can go for $340 when it is on sale.
Other than that, you got a pretty solid build .
I think this post deserves a best answer, no? 😀

i've went with a 670 and a 120gb ssd.. but i'm wondering:

Wich 670 brand should i get ? the base clock of that 670 is 915 mHz, is that too low for a good 670 ?(totally over-asked question i guess)

I want to have the most out of my system so i might overclock the CPU and GPU, even if I have absolutely NO experience overclocking. (I will start with the basic clocks until i know how to properly do it)

Will it be possible for me to overclock the GPU and CPU without added coolers ? and if so, how high of a clock speed could i potentially get ?

Good choice with the 670 and SSD
I'm not too sure about brands but I've heard a lot of good things about the MSI 670 Power Edition, Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce, Asus GTX 670 DCUII, and the EVGA GTX 670 FTW edition. I personally owned a 670 Windforce edition and it was excellent. The three fan design really kept it cool and quiet under load.
As for the base clock, I think that all of the cards I listed have a factory auto-boost feature for your GPU clock. My 670(windforce) boosted up to 1060 or so on it's own, I didn't have to do anything.
The 915MH'z isn't the highest, but it isn't the lowest either. You should be able to play all your games at max nice and smooth
If I were you I wouldn't overclock that CPU with the stock cooler, because it would be loud and not noticeable in game situations.
Max base clock I got on my 670 was about 1200MH'z. Now this was without the vbios voltage unlock (google it).
Good luck, doubt you will need to overclock your system though.
