Hi, I'm working on my first build, I've read over quite a few of the topics here related to my price range and I think I've slimmed it down to what the best parts are for what I want.
Purpose: Gaming, general use (I know the i7 2600k is overkill)
Price range $1500-$2000
Parts not required: Keyboard, mouse, monitor
Country: Canada
Preferred sites: NCIX, Memoryexpress, Newegg.
So here is what I have so far, people feel free to suggest any other parts that would be better suited for this build, I am pretty stuck on the i7 aspect and do not want to downgrade to the i5, although would consider something different in the i7 family.
CPU $310
Intel i7 2600k
