Hey everyone, I am here to ask for suggestions or advice on my first gaming PC build. Here are the specs I've come up with so far:

- CPU: Intel Core i5-7500

- MOBO: MSI B250M Gaming Pro

- GPU: MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4GB

- PSU: Cooler Master 550W 80+ Bronze

- RAM: 8GB

- Storage: 120GB SSD + 1TB 7200RPM HDD

- Case: Thermaltake Versa C23 TG RGB Edition

- WiFi: MSI Herald-AC Intel AC 8265 WiFi Card

Any advice or suggestions are very much appreciated

My Budget is $1200 AUD

Edit: Or should I jsut get a second hand GTX 970 for $200
====================================
Edit: The GPU is an MSI GTX 970 4G - No Warranty
====================================
Edit: How likely would a GTX 970 SLI not have been OC'd

Same performance on the processor but gets you the latest tech with a high quality power supply, 16gb of memory, and larger SSD.

Would it be worth it if I got a second hand GTX 970 for $200 or a GTX 1050 Ti Brand New with Full Warranty

the 970 is much stronger

some manufacturers also tie warranty to the card itself, like msi and asus

so you can have both your cake and eat it too

depending on warranty term, and date of manufacture of the specific card

The GPU is an MSI GTX 970 4G and has no warranty anymore
