So after a long saga of waiting for my next paycheck, I finally have a built pc. The parts are:
NZXT case
Geforce GTX 1050i
Seagate 1tb HDD
MSI B450 A Pro
16gb of Corsair DDR4 RAM
EVGA 500 BQ
And a Ryzen 5 2600

Now, how do I get linux on this thing, and also my TV that I've been using as a monitor will not detect any HDMI out from the computer. The "no signal" message disappears for a second as if it detected something but reappears in a few seconds. It was working fine with my dell laptop but idk, should I use VGA instead of HDMI? Or get a dedicated monitor?

Its connected to the motherboards hdmi not the gpu one
No it doesnt, I think the issue is that I need to plug the hdmi into the graphics card and not the motherboard port

So its plugged into the video card, the fans are spinning and still nothing.
And what on earth do I need to make them work? What's the point of having motherboard outlets if you cant use them?

So with the help of a friend I cleared the CMOS and it works like a charm! Thank you all for helping, I used a lot of knowledge from posters on this forum for the build! Time to download Blender! :)
