First build critique?

This is my very first build and is mainly for gaming (Not sure if I will be overclocking anything because I've no experience with it at all) my budget is $1200 at the moment. I'd appreciate some other tips of advice's as well

I would get a gtx 970 if you do gpu intensive games.

For gaming, that cpu/gpu combo is not very good. Most people would downgrade the cpu to like i5-4440 or something like that, downgrade the mobo to an h97 mobo...and throw in a 970.

I kept some stuff the same, I didnt put a disc drive in...just because. 750w is overkill, so is 16 gb of ram. And for gaming, so is 2 tb. Feel free to change whatever you want, but I would go with something like this.

I would keep a 2 tb hard drive, keep the disk drive, and use the i5 4690k. Both are a good combo.

The i5 is a good choice but the CPU/GPU combo is out of balance. Jerry's is a much better build.

If you are getting the cpu from the build above, I do not recommend any of them. The stock cooler should last longer and provide plenty of cooling. If you go aftermarket, then the cooler master 212 evo is a very good, and relatively cheap solution. It is just unnecessary.
