Hello everyone
I have recently been researching and finding parts for my first computer build.
I have a friend helping me actually build it and overclock it if i want, but i just have a few questions about the parts i have chosen
Here they are

Motherboard- ASUS p8z77-v
CPU- Intel i5 3570k
Heatsink- Coolermaster Hyper 212+ Evo
GPU- Asus Radeon HD 7850 Directcu II 2gb
RAM- 16gb Corsair Vengeance (2x8gb) 1600mhz
Hard Drive- WD Caviar Black 500gb or 1tb
Solid State Drive- Intel 330 120gb SSD
Case- Antec Nine Hundred Two V3
Power Supply- Season M12II 520w

I was just wondering if these parts were good (I've researched them all but im not sure if they would work together well, etc.) and if there are any minor changes to the system which would increase performance, lower the cost, etc.

All feedback welcome

you don't necessarily need the intel drive.

samsung 830/840
or
crucial m4
probably can save you money.

Then, since you have an ssd, you don't need to spend so much on an HDD since it's just for storage. So you can go bigger for the same price, or lower your prices there.

Rest looks fine, the powersupply you should be able to find for a good price, otherwise consider getting the x-series instead.
Case is a personal choice,

Get the 7870 instead of the 7850, and get 8gb of ram instead of 16, 16 is useless at this point. get a caviar blue 1TB (89.99 @ newegg) check out the HAF 912 case.

^+1 on getting the Caviar Blue instead. Unless you want the Black's 5-year warranty.

And yeah, if you're going for a ~128gb SSD, best get either the Vertex 4 or 830 Samsung.
