I'm going to uni soon and I would like to build myself a new PC. Is this a good build " http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3IcoE "? I want this build to be an Intel & Nvidia build and i can live without an SSD.My budget is $1000.

If you guys have any recommendation for which part should i change please tell. Do you have have a better build for $1000? If so, please give the link (pcpartpicker if possible).

6300 will not choke a 780 at all.

OP, this would be a better overall build. Can overclock, and the 770 will get you Ultra/Max at 1080p :)

Yeah, get 2 DIMMs to utilize dual channel support from the motherboard. Other than that, changed a few things to get you a 770 in the build.

6300 will choke a 780. Stick with the 4670k

Get a better mobo - eg ud3 instead of udh - more power phases and better voltage control. Especially good for overclocking

Add a cpu cooler - coolermaster hyper 212 evo.

for a 760, you only need 500w. try an Antec HCG 520M or XFX 550

Alright then. Thanks!! :)
