Build Advice First Build - Have questions

Hi All - been putting together a parts list for the last month or two. I've got a few questions that Id like some help on:

1. I'll need wifi operating day to day - should I bother getting a Mobo with it (like the one in this list) or just get an adapter after the fact?
2. GPU - my monitor (Samsung CF591 Series) has FreeSync so I was trying to get a GPU that worked with that. But the 5700 XT sounds like it has some big driver issues. Should I risk it for the FreeSync feature or try something else that wouldn't be AS compatible with my monitor like a GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8?
3. Trying for black and white theme here - any suggestions you'd make to improve on that?

Hello!

1) You will pay more for a motherboard with on board WiFi, but you will probably have a better connection than using a USB dongle. That being said, USB dongles are pretty reliable nowadays, so I wouldn't worry about it too much and just do whatever is more affordable. If you find a MOBO that you like without WiFi and you'll have the open USB ports, just buy a dongle for $15 - $20 and you'll be just fine.

2) I wouldn't worry about the RX 5700 XT. It is a pretty reliable card, and a great bang for your buck. Not a big risk.

3) No ideas here.

One adjustment you may consider is moving up to a 650 W PSU and giving yourself a little more headroom in case you decide to upgrade your GPU in the future.

1. This, supports that CPU, has Wifi and much cheaper then that X570 board. Use the savings for a better PSU. Since the board supports up to 3200 you can save some money on that. And despite the PCPer error, it does ship with a updated BIOS.

2. There's few issues no compared to the initial launch (like most new GPU's) but if the choice is between the 5700 XT and 2060S I'd get the 5700 XT. That being said it does run warm so you want something with aftermarket cooling.

3. My suggested changes, added in more memory and a little bit cheaper as well.

The ASRock b450/AC motherboard max memory speed supported is 3200? But what happens when you want to upgrade your cpu in a couple years to the 4000 series? Will the b450 support the memory speeds for the next gen? The 3000 series runs at it's best with 3600 memory.

First through third gen Ryzen 3200mhz has been the "sweet spot" price to performance.

Gaming wise most games there might be a 2-3 FPS difference, in some rare cases up to 10 FPS but that's also at 1080P, at higher resolutions its much less around 1-2 FPS.

Lastly the change in MB/RAM speed allows for 32gb instead of 16gb so it brings a bit more longevity to the build in that aspect.

If you want the black/white theme get some black/white pre sleeved cables for the power supply and combs to hold the cables neatly in case. You can also do a liquid cooling open loop with solid tubing and white liquid. A future project for fun.
