Specs: asrock 970A-G/3.1 motherboard, AMD FX 8320, gigabyte radeon rx 460, 2x4gb hyperx 1600, 2x4gb hyperx 1866.
I am wondering what settings i should have my cpu and ram set at. My problem is that my cpu seems to clock at 4.0 and my ram seems to auto set to 600. with that being said i have no idea how to pair my ram physically on the motherboard as well as how to set it to run optimally?

Memory manufacturers guarantee the rated speeds and timings of any memory to be obtainable only in the kit it is sold in. If you are adding an additional set of memory, the rated speeds and timings may not work due to the extra stress on the memory controller.

A workaround is to relax the timings and/or frequencies in order to get two sets of memory to work. Increasing DRAM voltage or lowering CPU multiplier are also options.
