Approximate Purchase Date: As soon as I get help from the pros here (looking to get started ASAP)
Budget: under $1,000
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming/Home theatre, surfing interwebs
Are you buying a monitor: Will be using a 40" Sony Bravia TV to start, may purchase monitor down the road
Parts I have no idea about: Video card. No idea what video card to pick. And honestly tons of other things I'm not 100% on but feel I made a decent choice based on reviews. Anything you see that can cut the price with same/close performance, please let me know!
Do you need to buy OS: Yes, I prefer Windows 7. Not a huge fan of 8 at all
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon or wherever you guys say I should go...
Location: Korea (South), all parts mailed to an APO address to avoid confusion
Parts Preferences: AMD would better fit my price range for now, may upgrade to Intel down the road
Overclocking: Maybe once I get my feet wet
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: 40" Sony Bravia TV!
Additional Comments: I'll throw money at silence, the smaller the better but don't want to sacrifice speed and upgradeability
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Don't have the best track record with laptops, time to get a desktop.
