First build looking for deals

I'm working on my first ever build (gaming and general use) and I'm in college now so money is tight. However, I don't want to sacrifice performance on my ideal rig. So just wondering this: when/where can I generally find good deals on parts for my build. Should I wait for something like Black Friday/Cyber Monday? Here's the build so far:

Black friday and cyber monday, online store weekly sales, those are the obly times I think

logicbuy.net is a good site, they gather up deals on a lot of consumer products including individual computer components.

Prowling around on ebay is about the only other way. Just have to watch who you buy from.
