Noob here looking for some feedback on my first PC build. Building a gaming rig trying to figure out if everything is compatible, good quality and keeping it in my price range. I realize it is going to cost up to 1500 if not more which maxes me out so i'm going to list my parts if anyone would like to give me their thoughts and if I should try to save money in some areas or upgrade in some areas it would be much appreciated:

MOBO- ASUS Z97-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel
CPU: Intel i7 4790 not sure if I want to go "k" yet because of the time and risk associated with overclocking
GPU: EVGA 04G-2974-KR GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 ACX 2.0 PCI Express 3.0
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (Is there cheaper set?)
Hard drive: Crucial MX100 CT256MX100SSD1 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Need to choose a 1tb mechanical HD
PSU: looking at a corsair 750w
Case: Looking at cooler master cases either HAF or one with a clear side
Optcal drive: something cheap

Thanks in advance for any feedback
