First Build Need Help Compatibility

I am building my first PC and it is going not too well, what I feared happened, and now I need help. So it turns out the new CPU I got sent from Tiger Direct is incompatible with the board I have now and Im getting a second confirmation from you guys.

The board I have is the Biostar N68S3B Geforce Board

The CPU Im being shipped is AMD Phenom II X4 840

Can I get a reply ASAP to see if I have to cancel the order and give the staff a "one two" for recommending a CPU that is incompatible

If it is incompatible can I get a recommendation of a good CPU that is with this motherboard?

the mobo will work fine with the phenom II processor .. can i ask you are you using that mobo to stay in budget?

We'll need a bit more info. The motherboard should definitely be compatible with your CPU. Could you give more complete system specs and symptoms you are experiencing?

What's unclear from the specs on tiger direct is if the chipset can handle 95W CPU's..But it seems likely that it does.

Have you checked their memory support?
