First Build, need help with power supply and others!! please help!

Hey everyone this is my build that is on order at the moment. i just need advice on whether an 750watt power supply will suffice?

**Corsair TX-750 V2 Power Supply**

Also i realised the i7 960 was a bad choice seeing as the new intel CPUs are much better, but ive already ordered the x58 (socket 1366) motherboard so thats what i've got. if anyone could suggest a better GPU alternative for ($320) i'm always listening..

so far i've only ordered the case, motherboard, HDD and monitor so suggestions for other then that will be greatly appreciated..

A 750w psu will do just fine. Look at the Antec High Current Gamer 750w for $139 on pccasegear.

so you prefer antec cooling over corsair? ill go that one becase its cheaper and i've heard good things about antec.shame its red though :/ blue would've been better haha

The Corsair TX 750w is a good one also.

Should have come here for advice BEFORE you bought your system.

You would have ended up with a faster, cheaper, more upgradeable system.

^^^ I did ask for advice here mate and for what i want to run, (adobe suite) people recommended the i7 because of the hyper-threading tech, not everyone on this site wants a gaming build. but thank you for your effort.
