First Build, Need HELP!

I just finished putting together my first computer build and I've come into an issue. I've installed everything correctly to my knowledge and have double checked everything, reseated it all a few times now and the outcome is the same. Whenever I startup I get one long and two short beeps, and nothing else. Nothing will turn on and I was curious on what to do.


Build:
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
MSI 970A-G46 AM3+ AMD 970
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870
AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.1GHz Turbo)
Seagate 1TB

what about your PSU, brand and model ?

try bread boarding it on something anti-static to rule that out first

Power is an conisderation too

Oops sorry though I added the power supply, and it's a RAIDMAX RX-535AP 535W

The Raidmax if working fine should not be an issue

taking into acount that the HD7870 has a moderated max TDP of 175W, and Vishera FX-6300 95W
you better check your PSU as RAIDMAX is marked as NOT RECOMMENDED psu

The 7870 draws 144W max

And this is start up, not load. The only issue with the Raidmax is that it may be a defective unit

Try using only 1 dimm and try out all the slots

Alright I'll swap try using each of the slots and let you know!

Now it's giving three long beeps when in the blue slots, but then in the black slots my powersupply pulses.

may be you need a bios upgrade since Vishera FX is on latest CPUs from AMDs AM3+ socket.
you can test another PSU, from a friend perhaps.
