Hello everyone!
I don't know much about computer parts so it would be very helpful if you gave me some advice on the following question.

So I recently decided I want to build my first computer even though I am very new to this topic. I want a good computer that can handle HD-Video Editing (Sony Vegas or Pinnacle Studio -not too intense-, not AE) and play maybe some games (only stuff like Minecraft or Gmod). Here is the build I came up with:

That is really all the money I have at the moment and I cannot purchase anything more expensive than 800$.

I am really not sure enough if the GPU and CPU will be good enough for video-editing and I wanted to know if I could get anything better than this build with the money or maybe save money somewhere. I am open to suggestions and hope to find some good advice. Thank you!

get a cheaper cooler like the hyper 212 evo or the sycthe mugen 3 or 4 pcgh edition if you want silence. Also i would get some lower cloked ram as it might be cheaper (if its only like 5€ difference or so then just leave it). And get an sshd at least that is 1 tb it will be faster and its about the same price as that wd black. And with the money you save you might want to get a bit higher wattage psu just to be safe.

For video editing you should get two hard drives - an SSD to be your system drive, and then the WD you have listed for storage etc. The SSD will massively improve the feel of your system in use as well. Doing video editing with a single hard drive is generally not recommended.

Also if you're gonna overclock get a better mobo - try the Asus M5A99X EVO Rev2 for example, as with the Gigabyte broad you have listed you're risking it hampering your overclock. If you're not gonna overclock, then you can just use the stock cooler - no need for the Noctua.

Hi

Getting parts from many different suppliers is not a good idea
Especially for someone with limited experience

Does your software use 8 cores ?
If not faster 4 core may be better value
Read up on video editing software you are going to use

Compare cost with specification of pre built base units

I did not see price of win 7 or 8 included do you already have a spare retail or system builder oem or upgrade. Version

I would try to stretch to 1 TB for hard disk if video editing
