What is the computer primarily going to be used for.

The motherboard is fine, the HD is fine, you can probably do without the sound card.

Other stuff I will change after you tell me the sorts of things that you will be doing on the computer, most likely.

That gets you under $800 for the full system.

I really would have liked to have another $100 to feel good about this because I had to make a lot of sacrifices I really didn't want to make to get it under the budget.

In any event, it should still perform very well. I am just not happy with the hard drive, the case, and it really would have been nice to get an ATX motherboard instead of a micro board.

With $100 more I could have gotten the part I wanted for each of those.
