The build is off to a decent start. That PSU is OK, but this one would also power that system and save you a little money along the way.

CORSAIR CMPSU-400CX 400W ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139008 $49.99 - $10 MIR + an extra 20% off using promo code "Maypsu20".

You don't need DDR2 1066 RAM with a Core 2 CPU. This RAM would work work great with that system:

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122 $47.99

You can get a newer, faster, HD with twice the capacity for less money:

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive - OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136074&Tpk=wd3200aaks $54.99

I would suggest this motherboard and GPU:

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-UD3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128380&Tpk=ga-ep43-ud3l $79.99

SAPPHIRE 100277L Radeon HD 4770 512MB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102835 $99.99

That's a good price on the Antec 900, but if you need to save some money, you could go with the Antec 300.

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

That is a good basic build. the game you want to play though is not coded to run on multiple cores, you will get more benefit from one fast core than four slower ones. If that is less important than your video editing needs then your current configuration is good.

Why do you want that one? The integrated graphics on it are not very good, your game will be choppy, and it is made to accomodate extra video cards, which you don't want so you are paying for features that you don't need. The build that Shortstuff made is much better suited for your needs.

Just get a more basic motherboard and the video card that was suggested. Here is another option for a build if you want one:

LG DVD burner
Rosewill Case, with very good cooling
Saphire 4770
OCZ StealthXStream 500w
Corsiar XMS2 4gb DDR2-800
GIGABYTE GA-EP43-UD3L
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33GHz
XIGMATEK HDT-SD964 92mm Rifle CPU Cooler
XIGMATEK ACK-I7753 Retention Bracket
Vista 64 and WD6401AALS

Total with shipping: $712.44, and then there is a $20 rebate. If you want to cut the price down the price, you can go with the 400cx that shortstuff mentioned, and use that windows xp license you have (im not sure what you mean by ice) or use Windows 7 RC which is free for download right now.

I would use Win 7 instead, its licensed and its free for one year.

That case is nice, but its 1/7 your entire budget, I think you would be better served spending that money elsewhere.

Be sure to read the stickies at the top of the forums. It's also very important to read the motherboard owners manual. A google search for "how to build your own computer" should give you more than enough reading material and videos to keep you busy.
