Hey everyone! I am figuring out what parts to put together for my first build. I have tried my best to check each components website to ensure compatability, but if you see anything wrong please let me know! My biggest struggle is picking a motherboard.
The sensible build: Here
If I can afford it build: Here
I do play ESO regularly (it's the reason I want to upgrade), as well dabble in photo editing among all your usual computer tasks. I would like to build a computer that should last me years to come. I have no interest in OC'ing right now, but figured I may in the future, or it could be used to 'extend' the life of my processor. My plan for the SSD is just for OS and Chrome.
I'm having a terrible time choosing a mobo as I want to ensure compatability, as I will not have the parts to temporarily boot it to update the bios so it works with my cpu or ram. As well, I don't want to be buying garbage, but don't want to throw money into something I don't need.
No plans to use SLI.
Obviously the sensible build is most likely what I will go for, as it's already pushing at my budget. Although, I would like to know what and how much I will be gaining by going with the 'if i can afford it' build, as that may change me mind. I plan on buying parts at the end of this month, or next month.
